Since 2013, HITAP has supported HTA development and capacity building in the Philippines through support to two economic evaluation studies as well as capacity-building. In 2019, the Philippines mandated the provision of universal health coverage to all Filipinos. To support the decision-making for this promising undertaking, the partners continue their collaboration to support the development of a national HTA guidelines, on-the-job and academic capacity-building, conduct of policy-relevant HTA research, monitoring and evaluation of implemented interventions, as well as networking and knowledge sharing.
