On 2nd February,  the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Programme (HITAP) had an honour to organize the parallel session under a topic of “Best Buys, Wasted Buys, and Controversies in Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Prevention in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)” at Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC). The session showcased the experiences in implementing NCD prevention especially on cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, chronic lung disease, cancers as well as mental health.

This session aimed to introduce an information package on best buys, wasted buys, and controversies in NCD prevention, which will be disseminated in PMAC 2020, to a wide range of audiences. The package itself aims to identify how different systems can create and utilize information for identifying interventions offering best value for their populations.

Please stay tunes for our information package, to be launched online on UHC day (12.12.19)!
